MOLE TRADING SERVICE STATION, EXETER

Whilst attending this service station to carry out a periodic test and inspection, we found a few faults. In order to resolve these electrical issues, we carried out the following investigations, repairs and upgrades:

  • Renewing of the mains distribution, which enabled us to fit double pole RCD’s to the circuits.
  • An investigation into high diverted neutral currents.
  • Two TN-C-S supplies fitted into one metal building, creating an electrical feed for two shops.

This sort of job highlights the importance of your annual electrical safety checks, particularly in hazardous areas like this petrol station.

The manager was reassured to know that we had uncovered these faults and potential issues, and was happy to have his service station registered as ‘electrically safe’ for another year.
