Water‑Damaged Switchgear Replacement

We were recently called to assist a customer following reports of flooding within their building upon arrival, we discovered that the basement level had been completely submerged.

Our engineers immediately isolated the building’s electrical supply. Thanks to their knowledge of the site, they were aware that the main distribution system for the entire building was in the basement. Once the water was removed, we faced a significant task; drying the affected area, removing the water‑damaged distribution equipment, and installing a full replacement system.

Given the nature of the building and the impact on several hundred occupants, we prioritised the work and committed all available resources to completing the project within four days.

We successfully reinstated the electrical distribution, allowing all affected personnel to return to the premises the following week.
